It was a quiet night sailing, very quiet, too quiet and dark, very dark. Sipping something red, just wondering where the wind hides. Could anyone walk as slowly. Then I heard a sound astern. Turning I saw…nothing. Heard it again, on starboard and port. Peering hard I saw…nothing. I put the cup down, do ghosts breath? I stood to scan about better. And there staring at me, not moving, dolphin dozen. Magical. I toasted them. Then thanked them for looking after me as we drifted apart.
